Ministries

The programs that make up the Ministries of the Jackson Park Church of Christ allow our members to strengthen their faith and service in the Lord and to be able to share that faith with their families and the community around us.

Missions:  The Jackson Park congregation has a history of enthusiastically sharing Christ with as many people as possible. Outreach efforts begin at home, here in Nashville, and currently extends to several countries of the world.

The Great Commission is "The Mission"

Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.  Matthew 28:19-20

Acts 1:8 is the strategy of the Church "on mission"

But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.  Acts 1:8

Missions is a process not a program and is the call of every believer.  This process involves worshipping God, loving others, serving God, and inviting others, fulfilling the Great Commandment and the Great Commission from Jackson Park to the World.  Come and see how you can join us in "The Mission"!

Missions 101:  Missions 101 puts into practice the service described in the Bible. The Missions 101 program assess the needs of the local community and develops projects to serve those needs.
